Business Data & Customer Privacy

Your customer list is yours. This page explains exactly how it is handled.

Your customers are your customers

  • We never message your customers for our own purposes.
  • We never market to them, sell their details, or share them with other businesses.
  • They do not create an account with us and are not redirected into a separate platform.
  • Conversations are branded as your business, not as ours.

Separation between businesses

Every record belongs to exactly one business. Access rules are enforced on the server for each request, so one business cannot read, list or modify another business's customers, conversations, bookings, quotes or orders — even if a request is tampered with.

Who can see your data

  • Team members you invite, according to the role you give them
  • A small number of our staff, only when required to operate the service or resolve a support request you raised
  • Infrastructure and messaging providers that process data on our behalf

What your customers see

A customer sees a text from your business number. Links you send them — such as a quote — open a page branded for your business, require no login, and are marked so search engines do not index them.

Export and deletion

You can export your customer and conversation data from the app. Deleting your account removes your business and customer records within 30 days, apart from records we must retain for billing, tax, security or fraud-prevention purposes. See Account Deletion.

Handling a customer's privacy request

If one of your customers asks you to delete their information, remove them from your customer list in the app. If they contact us directly, we will pass the request to you and support you in completing it.
